ILUNION HOTELS WINS THE CETT ALIMARA BARCELONA 2021 AWARD
The 36th CETT Alimara Barcelona award ceremony was held on 10 June in Barcelona, organised by the leading tourist university centre CETT, part of the University of Barcelona, along with the B-Travel Trade Show. This year’s awards went to 12 products, services, strategies and actions which have applied an innovative vision to the tourism, hotel and gastronomy sector.
ILUNION Hotels was awarded the CETT Alimara Through Sustainability Award, given along with the WTO, for commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
The Everyone-Inclusive Hotels campaign was praised for fostering the labour integration of people with disabilities and accessible tourism, its links to the Sustainable Development Goals, and the strengthening of a business model that is social, environmental, sustainable, economic and which transforms local territories.
Elena Salas, Director of ILUNION Barcelona, and Sonia Bondía, Director of ILUNION Auditori, picked up the award on behalf of the chain.
Once again our business model has received acclaim for its unique, differentiating strategy. Our project continues to amaze and the team as a whole is excited about our pledge.
