ILUNION ALCORA SEVILLA COMPLETELY REFURBISHED
We have finally reopened our ILUNION Alcora Sevilla after a full upgrade to make it more accessible and functional, as well as changing the design.
The recently finalised works included fully renovating the lobby, changing the fittings in the waiting and reception area, and incorporating an accessible reception desk for people with reduced mobility.
We also updated more than 250 rooms, equipping many of them with facilities for people with disabilities. Lastly, we extended the lobby bar area, the buffet restaurant and the fitness room. We also refurbished the lobby lift for people with reduced mobility and improved access to the outdoor pool.
You may not know that the hotel was one of the first to be converted into an emergency medical centre by the Government of Andalusia at the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. For several weeks, we housed almost 100 elderly people with the disease, transferred from nursing homes not equipped to deal with the situation.
With the reopening of the ILUNION Alcora Sevilla, all our hotels are now fully operative again, for the first time since 2019.
Congratulations to manager Manuel Jiménez and to all his team!
