Accesibilidad
ILUNION’s objective is that all people, regardless of disability, age or accessing the web from unconventional technologies, will find an accessible website and will be able to browse the web pages without any issues.
Therefore, the ILUNION website has been developed based on compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 established by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).
Here are some of the functionalities implemented in the ILUNION website to allow correct web accessibility to all the contents of the website with greater ease:
- The visual characteristics of the website (typeface, font, background colour, etc.) are defined by the style sheet so that the user can adjust the text to their preferences.
- Font sizes have been defined with relative units so that you can increase or decrease the font size from the browser options.
- If a user accesses the page with a browser that doesn’t support style sheets, this won’t be an issue, as all content can still be accessed with CSS disabled.
- The pages have a clear structure both for the user who can see all the content, and for those who read the information with a screen reader, users who deactivate the style sheet, etc. As part of this objective, section headings, lists and all elements that help the general understanding of the website have been defined in HTML code.
