ILUNION Hotels takes a new step in its evolution as a unique business model with the appointment of Beatriz Miguel as the new General Director. After twenty years with the company, Beatriz takes over from José Ángel Preciados, who will maintain his leadership as CEO, to drive a new phase focused on sustainable growth, innovation, and internal talent.
With this decision, the hotel company of the ILUNION Group—part of the ONCE Social Group—consolidates its structure and reinforces its purpose of demonstrating that profitability and positive social impact can advance hand in hand.
“It is time to take a new leap to another dimension. At ILUNION Hotels, we have exceptional teams that have brought us to where we are today. Continuing to bet on the evolution of our structure responds to the responsibility we have to continue preparing for the future with more resources, more capabilities, and the best internal talent,” said José Ángel Preciados, CEO of ILUNION Hotels.
The executive also emphasized that “Beatriz Miguel has been part of the team for 20 years now and brings together the knowledge of the sector and the humanistic leadership necessary to take the company to its highest level. She ensures an exceptional culture, embodies its values, and has the strategic vision needed to continue moving towards a company with greater significance and an even deeper impact on people and the sector.”
Her history within ILUNION Hotels is the best proof of the internal talent that drives the company.
Beatriz Miguel began her career in 2005 as a receptionist, became a hotel director, led the Operations Department since 2018, and in 2024, she assumed the Business Department, a key role integrating the areas of Operations, Commercial, and Business Intelligence. From that role, she consolidated efficiency and cohesion among the different business areas, promoting a model based on sustainability, innovation, and inclusion.
For her part, Beatriz Miguel stated that “I take on this new phase with great enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility. ILUNION Hotels has allowed me to grow personally and professionally for 20 years, and my commitment is to continue promoting a model where excellence, sustainability, and people are the highest priority. The challenge now is to take the values that define us beyond our borders and demonstrate that another way of doing business—more human, more inclusive, and more sustainable—is possible.”
In parallel, the company reinforces its Management Committee with the incorporation of Manuel Jiménez Pulgar at the head of the Operations Department and David López Flores as the new Commercial Director, thus strengthening its structure to move towards a more efficient, innovative model that is fully aligned with its purpose.
With 32 hotels across Spain, ILUNION Hotels thus consolidates its position as a benchmark in responsible tourism, uniting profitability and positive social impact under a pioneering model that continues to grow without losing sight of the essential: people.
