Training experience of the students of the PDG-A 2023 from IESE Business School

A special event recently took place at ILUNION Atrium, where students from the PDG – A 2023 class of IESE Business School were invited to participate in an emotional blindfolded experience.

For ILUNION Hotels, the event was doubly significant:

  • We were honored by the presence of one of the members of the class, our Director of Operations, Beatriz Miguel.
  • The person in charge of closing the event was our CEO, José Ángel Preciados.

During the session, the IESE students were able to experience for a few moments how a person with a disability feels when faced with an action as everyday as enjoying a plate of food. This practical experience reinforces empathy and the understanding of accessibility barriers.

To conclude the event, José Ángel Preciados addressed the attendees, explaining in detail the unique business model and the purpose of ILUNION Hotels: to demonstrate that business excellence and social impact are compatible.
