ILUNION Atrium hosted the summer party once again

ILUNION Atrium once again hosted the Summer Party. Guests arrived and passed through the photocall while background music played by Mickey Pavón. Later, the event continued with a performance by maestro Jorge Bedoya, who delighted guests with his piano before the speeches, the most emotional part of the party. It was time to listen to Halyna Pertseva, a Ukrainian refugee working as a receptionist at Aqua, who shared her powerful story of having to leave her home country and how warmly she was welcomed in Spain.

After Halyna’s touching words, the audience was ready to hear from ILUNION Hotels CEO, José Ángel Preciados. In his speech, he highlighted the company’s purpose and expressed gratitude for the presence of Miguel Carballeda, President of Grupo Social ONCE, and Alejandro Oñoro, President of ILUNION, as well as our valued partners.

The evening closed with an emotional awards ceremony recognizing those who have continuously supported us. Awarded companies included Avoris as Best Distributor, SHR Carlos as Best Technology Partner, and the Red Cross as Best Social Ally. On an individual level, Pedro Pablo Parrado received the Best Client Award, Domenec Biosca the Career Achievement Award, Miguel Monasterio the Jury’s Special Award, and Javier Canales was honored as Best Supplier.

Since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, ILUNION Hotels has worked tirelessly to respond to the humanitarian crisis, hosting over 1,000 refugees. We continue to address the ongoing impact of the conflict, having supported more than 35,000 stays across our hotels. In recent months, we have employed over 30 people, offering them a sustainable livelihood in our country. To show their gratitude, a group of Ukrainian workers created a drawing of a rosco and wrote heartfelt thank-you messages in their native language.
