Living real accessibility: Paxis Inclusion Visit to ILUNION Alcora

At ILUNION Hotels, accessibility is more than a certification; it is a commitment we live by and put to the test every day. Recently, we had the honor of welcoming a group from the Paxis Inclusion Association to ILUNION Alcora, an organization that works to support people with motor, cognitive, or sensory difficulties.
It was a day designed not only to showcase our facilities but also to share, learn, and demonstrate in practice what tourism looks like when “Everyone Is Included.”
Inclusion and Accessibility Day
The day began with a warm welcome and an adapted tour to showcase every corner of the hotel. During the visit, our team explained the accessibility measures we implement, such as access ramps, braille signage, and fully adapted rooms.
Participants experienced firsthand how we work to ensure that everyone enjoys a comfortable and safe stay. Beyond the technical aspects, an enriching dialogue was fostered about the importance of removing barriers in the tourism sector and how universal accessibility is integrated into every detail of our service.
Gastronomic Experience and Social Commitment
After the tour, the group enjoyed a menu at our restaurant, designed with options adapted to different dietary needs. The kitchen team explained our culinary philosophy, based on local and sustainable products.
The experience concluded with a talk about our social and environmental commitment, highlighting the employment inclusion projects that define us as a company. Participants highly valued the warmth and professionalism of our staff.
