We’ve won the Travelling for Happiness 2023 Award

Our training initiative, Campus Mijas, was named winner in the People Management category at the Travelling for Happiness 2023 Awards. This event was organised by the Madrid Hospitality Business Association (AEHM) and Connecting Heads.

Mar Almagro, Director of the Southern Region, accepted the award. Almagro emphasised that Campus Mijas aims to promote the value of training as a key tool for talent retention—one of the greatest challenges in the industry today. That’s why we are committed to developing our People, one of our most valuable stakeholder groups.

ILUNION Hacienda de Mijas has hosted over 700 students during its first year, and the number is expected to grow next year.

Thanks to its first year in operation, ILUNION Hacienda de Mijas has reduced seasonality and temporary stays.

Over the past few months, 700 students have visited the hotel and nearby towns such as Benalmádena and Fuengirola. Among the initiative’s highlights, students mentioned “being able to learn English in an exceptional setting and meeting new people from other parts of Spain.” Satisfaction levels have been very high, and Preciados has already announced that “demand for next year is much higher.”
