Sustainability in the value chain.
For ILUNION Hotels, sustainability means integrating social and environmental concerns into business strategy and management as a comprehensive, cross-cutting concept that goes far beyond mere environmental management, fully aligned with the values of the ONCE Social Group.
“We want to look at all our activities, our hotels, every process and small action through the lens of sustainability, committing to a cultural shift in environmental management to become a benchmark in this field. We want our hotels to be schools for conscious individuals who drive the transformation of our communities and society,” explains ILUNION Hotels CEO, José Ángel Preciados.
ILUNION Hotels, which integrates sustainability criteria throughout its entire value chain, aims to lead a tourism model that is not only inclusive and accessible but also sustainable—one that protects the environment while promoting leisure and enjoyment for everyone.
“We know that tourism can be a powerful vehicle for transmitting values, and that’s why we want to inspire a new way of understanding this sector so that, when our customers choose us, they know they are contributing to a major social impact project,” says Preciados.
The hotel chain’s Sustainability Master Plan (2022–2025) will be aligned with the SDGs and will strengthen ILUNION’s contribution to the 2030 Agenda.
