Our hotels, ILUNION Almirante and ILUNION Auditori, have received the Travelife certification for their work to minimize the environmental impact of their operations and to promote the sustainable development of society.

With the certification of these two Barcelona properties, we now have 15 hotels that have adopted the measures established by international standards for sustainability and CSR.

Travelife is an international certification system that engages and assists hotels in improving the social and environmental management of their businesses. Furthermore, this seal enables tourists to recognize hotels committed to the environment and the society in which they operate.

The program is divided into three phases: Engagement, where the company commits and establishes sustainability management procedures; Partnership, where the company is trained to carry out the necessary tasks; and Certification, where an independent auditor validates the implementation of international standards at the property.

Throughout the process, hotel staff receive training and get involved to meet the 163 criteria included in this certification, covering aspects related to optimizing energy and water consumption, environmental protection, employee and guest well-being, and positive community relations.
